Liz Pocknell, Director, CV Technic

Liz has a passion for helping people to achieve their full potential through a powerful CV. Each CV is individually written to match the skills and personality of the client. She works both face to face and via email.


Liz has been the Director of CV Technic Ltd since 1999 and has been writing CVs for over 20 years, first through BT ‘s consultancy arm, then in recruitment and now in her own business. She works closely with a Career Consultancy and regularly carries out practice interviews.

Liz gained an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kings College, London University and her technical career has spanned Engineering with BT, Technical Authoring/Proposals with BT, Cable and Wireless, Cap Gemini and Dell.

She has undertaken training and application support for Dell and documentation for a number of corporates and small businesses in the IT, Telecomms, retail, recruitment, leisure and consultancy sectors. She also carries out a small number of training assignments in MS Office applications for individual clients and small businesses. Liz is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Member of the Institution of Engineering Technology (MIET), and Associate of Kings College (AKC).

Liz works with clients both in the UK and internationally, with clients from New Zealand, Thailand, Canada, Middle East and Europe.
